We are delighted to be working in partnership with Lincolnshire FA to help deliver a Continuous Professional Development session for grassroots coaches in the local area which is being held at YMCA, Clee Fields on Monday 11th November at 6:30pm.
This CPD will be helping grassroots coaches in different areas and our aims with supporting the Lincolnshire FA is to support both coach development and player development in the local area.
We are a great admirer of the work done by grassroots coaches from Grimsby and surrounding areas and want to help to support those coaches who want to develop further to ultimately help to develop our young, female footballers further.
• Areas covered will include:
• Person first, Player second
• Linking tactics to individual skills and practices.
• Practice Design
• How ETC’s support the growth of youth, female players
On the importance of the partnership, ETC Lead and Women’s First Team Head Coach Ben Challen said, “This CPD event is a great opportunity for grassroots coaches in the local area to learn about what we are doing with the ETC and to hopefully take little snippets of information about how we are coaching and take that to add further detail to their coaching.
“Our role as an ETC is to further develop players for local grassroots teams, so we want to help with the coaching education side of it as much as possible, as well as the player development
