Grimsby Town Foundation is proud to publish its Annual Report for the year ending 31st May 2025, highlighting another impactful year of growth, inclusion and community engagement across North East Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
The report showcases the Foundation’s continued commitment to improving lives through sport, education, health and wellbeing, while strengthening its reach across local communities.
Key highlights from 2024/25 include:
- Continued success and expansion of the Foundation’s school provision, including increased work in economically deprived areas.
- Introduction of regular sessions within SEND schools for the first time.
- Growth of community sessions, holiday courses and after-school clubs.
- Expanded inclusive opportunities through girls-only programmes and Ability Counts disability football sessions.
- Ongoing delivery of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme, providing enriching activities and meals for children during school holidays.
- Continued growth of the BTEC programme in partnership with Franklin College, including the successful launch of the girls’ pathway.
- Increasing student numbers on the Sports Coaching Foundation Degree delivered with EFL in the Community and the University of South Wales.
- Delivery of Premier League Charitable Fund initiatives including Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Kicks and new mental health awareness projects.
- Further matchday community campaigns in partnership with local organisations.
- Significant progress on the Heritage Fund project, preserving and celebrating the rich history of Grimsby Town Football Club.
