Weekly Update

This week at Grimsby Town Foundation, as well as all our weekly sessions, our focus is on the delivery of our popular half-term football courses. With courses taking place in Louth and Grimsby this week, we can’t wait to welcome everyone for what will be a thoroughly enjoyable few days of football fun.

Our half-term courses are the perfect way for young children to play football, with the help and guidance of our trained coaches, and to also stay active during the school holidays.

From shooting practice and defending drills, to tricks and skills, our courses have plenty of activities for young children to get involved in, as well as awards at the end of the week for those children that have really impressed the coaches.

As well as our football and goalkeeping courses, our girls only days are back for the third time, since first being introduced during the February half-term.

All courses cost £20 per day or £50 for all three days. All sessions start at 10am and finish at 3pm. The participants should bring with them a pack-up, drinks, and boots/Astro trainers.

Weekly Sessions

Due to it being a bank holiday today (Monday 27th), none of our usual Monday evening sessions will be running, but they will be back up and running as normal next week.

Tuesday

Our Premier League Kicks session at Shalom Youth Centre will be taking place at 6-7:30pm, as well as our newly-launched netball sessions at YMCA, Kent Street from 6-7pm.

We also have our sessions happening at Oasis Academy in Immingham, which run from 6:30-7:30pm for school years 7-9 and from 7:30-8:30pm for school years 10-13.

Wednesday

On Wednesday’s we deliver a session at West Marsh Community Centre. This session was set up by North East Lincolnshire Council in conjunction with the Foundation, and runs from 5-6pm.

Thursday

Thursday is all about our Premier League Kicks sessions. Centre 4 plays host to our 5-7pm sessions, while Oasis Academy, Immingham plays host to sessions from 6-8pm. These sessions are open to school years 3-13

Friday

On Friday we deliver our Multi-sports sessions in Immingham, which take place at Oasis Academy. The two sessions run between 4-6pm and are open to school years 7-13.

All our weekly sessions are turn up and play. A parent/guardian must be on hand to fill in a consent form, but after that you’re good to go, so we’d love to see you!
