MAY HALF-TERM FOOTBALL CAMP SUCCESS

We are delighted to report that our May half-term football camps, despite the unkind weather, were a huge success yet again.

Over the course of the week, our dedicated coaches delivered fun-filled football-related activities to around 130 children in Grimsby and Louth. From drills that focused on various aspects of the game to competitive small-sided tournaments, all the children involved got to show our coaches their incredible talent.

As well as our three-day mixed courses, we held our girls only courses, which were first introduced in February, and were again very popular with all of the girls in the local area. Our one-day goalkeeping courses were held on Friday, where our coaches worked with 22 budding young goalkeepers across two venues.

At the end of all of the courses, our coaches handed out awards to those who won the skills challenges, and also to those children that stood out to them and the other participants across the duration of the camps, as players player and coaches player awards.

You can already book onto our Kellog’s Summer Camps, and we urge everyone to get involved and book their place onto what will be an exciting summer!
