Non-Executive Trustee (Finance)

Location: Cleethorpes
Closing Date: 12th December 2025

We are seeking a Non-Executive Trustee with strong financial expertise to support the long-term sustainability and governance of the Foundation.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in providing independent challenge, strategic oversight and support to ensure we deliver our mission effectively, transparently and responsibly.

Trustees are expected to attend up to five Board meetings per year and commit their time and expertise to the Community Director, Senior Management Team and wider Board.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the Community Director and Head of Operations on all financial matters
  • Supporting the Board to monitor financial viability
  • Overseeing financial procedures relating to assets and liabilities
  • Advising on the financial implications of strategic planning
  • Reviewing annual accounts and liaising with external accountants
  • Ensuring robust financial management and alignment with the Foundation’s objectives
  • Acting as a counter-signatory on cheques and funding applications (where required)

We are also seeking a Trustee with specialist knowledge and experience in health and wellbeing to strengthen our strategic approach to reducing health inequalities across the community.

This trustee will help shape the development and evaluation of health-focused programmes, offering insight and challenge that ensures we deliver meaningful, measurable impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Bringing expertise in public health and tackling health inequalities
  • Advising on wellbeing initiatives and community health strategy
  • Supporting programme design across mental health, physical activity and nutrition
  • Helping to evaluate the effectiveness of health-related projects

Head of Operations

Location: Cleethorpes
Salary: £38,000 per annum

The Grimsby Town Foundation is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Operations to join our Senior Management Team.

This is a pivotal role within the charity, responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, supporting staff, and ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality programmes across all departments.

The successful candidate will be a strong organiser, a people-focused leader and someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of an operational plan aligned with our strategic objectives
  • Manage service delivery through effective planning, reporting and evaluation
  • Develop and monitor organisational structures, KPIs and budgets
  • Work closely with the Safeguarding Officer to promote best practice
  • Ensure staff are well-supported, trained and equipped to deliver excellent work
  • Maintain high standards of record-keeping and compliance
  • Collaborate with Business Management and funding teams to support growth
  • Deliver reports and updates as required

Academy Physiotherapist (Casual)

Location: Cleethorpes
Closing Date: 5th December 2025

Our Academy is seeking qualified Physiotherapists to join the medical team on a casual basis, supporting the Foundation Phase (U9–U11) and Youth Development Phase (U12–U16).

This role is integral to the safe development of young players and provides an exciting opportunity to be part of the club’s pathway in line with EPPP standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing pitch-side first aid and acute injury management on matchdays and training
  • Carrying out equipment checks and reporting issues where required
  • Recording injuries and treatment through PMA
  • Liaising with the Head of Sports Science and Medicine and reporting significant injuries
  • Referring players for further medical assessment where appropriate
  • Delivering detailed assessments, diagnoses and SOAP notes
  • Following evidence-based rehabilitation programmes
  • Updating players, parents and coaches on recovery plans and return-to-play timelines
  • Maintaining required FA and HCPC qualifications
  • Upholding all Academy safeguarding, safety and equality policies

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physiotherapist to support the next generation of Mariners while gaining valuable experience within a high-performance environment.
