Partnership with Franklin Sixth Form College
Grimsby Town Foundation launched their first ever girls Shadow Scholarship in partnership with Franklin College ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The course is run in partnership with local outstanding provider Franklin Sixth Form College. The Shadow Scholarship offers Girls ages 16-19 the opportunity to study a range of courses at Franklin whilst having a built in football development programme in their timetable including fixtures against other EFL CEFA U19 clubs on a Wednesday afternoon.
Details
The scholarship programme allows female athletes to combine football development and education. If you’re interested in this programme, you should select this option at application, plus the courses at Franklin you want to study alongside the GTFC Scholarship programme.
Course Content
Train twice a week with high-level Grimsby Town FC Foundation coaches and represent Grimsby Town FC Foundation U19 in the EFL CEFA League, competing against other shadow teams in the country Build a personalised Study Programme of choice with Franklin Sixth Form College, select from Franklin’s fantastic range of courses to develop the most suitable programme to support your educational aspirations.
