Grimsby Town Foundation is pleased to confirm details of its February Half-Term Football Courses, offering a wide range of fun, inclusive and high-quality sessions for young players of all abilities during the school break.
Running across 16th-20th February, the programme includes football, goalkeeping and SEND-specific courses, all delivered by experienced coaches in a safe and supportive environment.
February Half-Term Football Courses
16th – 18th February | 10am – 3pm
These popular half-term courses are the perfect way to stay active, develop skills and enjoy football with friends.
Courses available:
- Boys Only – Clee Fields
- Girls Only – Clee Fields
- Goalkeeping – Clee Fields
- Mixed Football – Louth (Wood Lane)
Cost:
- £20 per day or £50 for all three days
Sessions include:
- Warm-ups
- Skill challenges
- Ball mastery
- Shooting sessions
- Speed, agility & quickness training
- Matches and competitions
Players will benefit from professional coaching, fun and challenging activities, and an environment designed to build confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of the game.
February Half-Term Goalkeeping Course
16th – 18th February | 10am – 3pm | Clee Fields
Designed specifically for aspiring goalkeepers, this specialist course gives players the chance to train like the best.
What to expect:
- Specialist goalkeeper coaches
- Shot-stopping, handling & footwork
- 1v1s, distribution & game scenarios
- Confidence building & decision-making
- Use of a ball launcher in selected sessions
Whether new to the position or already playing regularly, goalkeepers will enjoy high-quality coaching and real development in a fun, supportive setting.
SEND Football Course – February Half Term
19th & 20th February | 12pm – 3pm | Clee Fields
Grimsby Town Foundation is proud to deliver an inclusive SEND Football Course, tailored for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Cost:
- £10 per day
Focus areas include:
- Building confidence and self-esteem
- Developing football skills at an individual pace
- Encouraging teamwork, communication and social interaction
- Fun, structured sessions led by experienced and understanding coaches
These sessions ensure every child feels supported, included and successful, regardless of experience level.
