How does supporting teachers with P.E delivery work?

This programme aims to support Primary School teachers during curriculum P.E lessons, aiming to develop their planning and teaching knowledge and confidence in the subject.

What is targeted intervention?

This programme aims to engage identified pupils in either PSHE, Maths or English, or by using football sessions and various different resources to reignite their love of learning. This is aimed at pupils with demonstratable need, for example low confidence, poor self esteem or low progress in class.

What are the benefits of girls only extra-curricular football?

This programme aims to provide opportunities for girls to access football-specific sessions that can inspire and engage a new generation. These sessions expand schools opportunities for girls in a safe, engaging and fun environment.

Anti-discrimination workshops

These sessions aimed to develop an understanding of discrimination and how behaviours and language can create inclusive environments.

What are education activations?

The aim of these activations is to raise awareness or inspire engagement while supporting pupils learning in PSHE, English and Maths. Topics we delivered included anti-bullying workshops and a club author day held at Blundell Park.

How does my school take part in competitions?

This programme aims to support inter and intra school competition opportunities for Primary Schools while embodying the Premier League Primary Stars Values. Grimsby Town Foundation can support your sports days and you will be invited to any competitions that we host, many of which have opportunities to progress onto further competitions.

Last years impact and focus will further continue into the 2024/25 academic year. We want to further embed our delivery model aiming to support the schools and families in our community that need it most, The Premier League Primary Stars model has proven to be a great success in the schools that have engaged with it, it has been a learning journey and we are better prepared this year to further what we can offer our Priority Schools.
