PREMIER LEAGUE KICKS FRIENDLY FAIRPLAY FIXTURE

A soccer team poses together on an outdoor field at night, with players in red and navy uniforms standing and crouching in front of the goal.

On Thursday the 10th of October participants from our Centre4 Premier League Kicks session were invited to represent Grimsby Town Foundation and play a team from the YMCA Humber at Kent Street in a friendly fixture as part of the FairPlay League.

The game was very competitive and close with the score 0-0 at half-time. In the second-half, Centre4 started fast and with lots of chances coming their way.

Robbie in goal pulled off some excellent saves to keep us in the game and Macca, captain for the evening popped up with four goals before the final whistle.

Centre4 emerged victors 6-1 at full-time.

On the ocassion, Head of Inclusion at Grimsby Town Foundation Jason Land said, “A massive thank you to YMCA Humber for hosting us. The game was played in a competitive but very friendly and respectful atmosphere with both teams a credit to themselves. It really was a pleasure to be involved and a huge well done to all involved.”
