Last week, we at Grimsby Town Foundation had an incredible time delivering our Spring Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme at the Ross Sports Ground.
Participants enjoyed a wide variety of activities throughout the week, starting each day with exciting arrival games such as giant Connect Four, giant Jenga, carnival games, basketball shooting, and much more. These sessions created a fun and welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Our HAF football sessions were a real highlight. Mornings focused on developing key skills, helping participants build confidence and improve their technique. In the afternoons, the energy ramped up with competitive and engaging tournaments, giving everyone the chance to put their new skills into practice.
Alongside football, our multi-sports sessions offered something for everyone. Activities included dodgeball, handball, rounders, cricket, volleyball, mini-games, and inclusive games designed to ensure all participants could get involved and have fun.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Dawn’s Deli for providing fantastic lunches throughout the programme. The food was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and helped keep energy levels high for the busy days.
In addition to the physical activities, participants also took part in a range of workshops. These sessions focused on important topics such as teamwork, collaboration, and raising awareness around knife crime, providing valuable learning experiences alongside the sporting fun.
It was a fantastic week, and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. We look forward to welcoming you all back for even more fun in the Summer!
