FEBRUARY HALF-TERM FOOTBALL CAMPS | AVAILABLE TO BOOK NOW

Grimsby Town Foundation is pleased to announce the finalised dates and venues for our February half-term football camps.

The Foundation have been delivering football camps to children in the local community since its inception in 1986 and have been providing a platform for young people to stay active during the school holidays.

Our camps include skills challenges and ball mastery, shooting sessions and plenty of competitive matches and small-sided games.

We are bringing back our girls’ only camps; giving young aspiring female footballers the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence surrounded by one another.

These were first introduced in February last year following the high demand for girls wanting to get involved in football in the local community and have been incredibly popular ever since.

We are also re-introducing our goalkeeper courses, for those who want to develop their skills in between the sticks.

Following the successful launch of our Comets disability sessions with the FA and England Football, we have now introduced SEN courses as part of our holiday camps.

This will allow boys and girls with a broad range of impairments and health conditions the space to come together and enjoy playing a variety of sports games in a safe environment.

These camps are shorter than our other football camps, taking place from 12-3pm and are aimed at 12-16-year-olds.

Our camps will take place on the following dates and at the following locations:

Football courses (17th/18th/19th)

• Woodlane Field, Louth (mixed) – 10am-3pm, ages 5-15
• Clee Fields, Grimsby (boys) – 10am-3pm, ages 5-15
• Clee Fields, Grimsby (girls) – 10am-3pm, ages 5-15

SEND 2-day course (20th/21st)

Goalkeeper 2-day course (20th/21st)

Clee Fields, Grimsby – 10am-3pm, ages 5-15

All of the courses can be found on Official Soccer Schools by clicking here.

On the importance of running these courses, the Foundation’s Community Director, Mike Thompson said, “As the Community Director of Grimsby Town Foundation, I firmly believe that running half-term football camps is vital for the well-being of our children in the local community.

“These camps provide a fantastic opportunity for young people to stay healthy, active, and engaged during the school holidays. They not only promote physical fitness but also create a safe, supportive environment where children can build friendships, develop teamwork skills, and have fun.

“It’s all about supporting our community and ensuring our young people thrive both on and off the pitch.”

We look forward to welcoming our participants over the February half-term!
